Uma tradução literal rígida, ipsis litteris, que preserva a estrutura e o sentido do texto original sem as normalizações e interpretações comuns nas versões existentes. Camadas inteiras de significado foram encobertas ao longo dos séculos. A Belem An.C devolve ao leitor o que sempre foi dele: o texto como ele é. Agora, o desafio é levar essa mesma fidelidade aos mais de 7.000 idiomas falados no planeta.
Belem Anderson — police officer, developer and literature graduate — translated the first version truly faithful to the original codices into Brazilian Portuguese. A rigid literal translation, ipsis litteris, preserving the structure and meaning of the original text without the normalizations and interpretations common in existing versions. Entire layers of meaning have been buried over the centuries. Belem An.C returns to the reader what was always theirs: the text as it is. Now, the challenge is to bring this same fidelity to the more than 7,000 languages spoken on the planet.

Os textos originais foram traduzidos para o LATIM — idioma que nenhum dos autores originais utilizou — e guardados por séculos. Quando a Revolução Protestante permitiu novas traduções, estas foram feitas do latim para outros idiomas, já profanadas desde a raiz.

The original texts were translated into LATIN — a language none of the original authors used — and kept for centuries. When the Protestant Revolution allowed new translations, these were made from Latin into other languages, already profaned from the root.

Adapts the text to the target language norms. Adjusts syntax, word order, verb tenses. Eliminates structures from the original. When the original uses unusual word order for emphasis, the normalized translation reorganizes and destroys the original emphasis.

Torna o texto mais fluido e elegante. Remove asperezas, repetições, ambiguidades. Se o original é seco ou abrupto por intenção do autor, a tradução suavizada o "embeleza", destruindo a intenção original.
Makes the text more fluid and elegant. Removes roughness, repetitions, ambiguities. If the original is dry or abrupt by the author's intention, the smoothed translation "beautifies" it, destroying the original intent.
